Andy Gross purchased the former Alliance Steel in the late 1990’s and over the past few decades has transformed a small toll processor into a first-class flat-rolled steel distributor and service center. In the mid-2000’s Alliance, substantially increased their sales and service presence in the mid-south by strategically adding Atlanta and Memphis locations. In 2020, Alliance Steel moved to its new headquarters & processing facility, located in Gary, IN.

Alliance has amassed a long list of processing capabilities, all of which were added to better serve their customers. Their in-house processes include slitting, multi-blanking, cut-to-length, stretcher leveling, shearing, cold reduction, and laser cutting. Alliance inventories both coil and sheet in hot rolled, hot rolled pickled and oiled, cold rolled, coated, and stainless in various gauges and grades.
