Paxson/Braner .250” x 24” narrow slitting line.
The steel service center adds additional slitting capabilities to complete trifecta.
Gary, Indiana (November 17, 2021)-Earlier this month, Alliance Steel, LLC added an additional slitting line to its already impressive lineup of in-house slitters. The steel service center adds a Paxson/Braner .250” x 24” narrow slitting line to complete their trifecta. The addition of this line places Alliance Steel in a unique position to supply narrow slit coils with tight width tolerances.
Drew Gross, Corporate Vice President, states, “It is important for Alliance Steel and our customer base to offer as many products and services as possible. Therefore, our team felt that it was necessary to add narrow coil slitting capacity to our already robust arsenal of equipment capabilities”.
This precision slitting line, rebuilt in 2021, is equipped with a power-driven head, 16’ looping pit for camber–free material, and a tension stand for an exceptional quality product.

Alliance Steel has decades of steel coil slitting experience and can offer products that meet or exceed industry standards on various gauges and grades.
