Alliance Family of Companies announces the promotion of Janie Haskins to Toll Processing Assistant, effective June 9, 2023. After starting at Alliance Steel in March 2020 as a Front Desk Associate, Janie Haskins was promoted to Office Receiving Coordinator in October 2021. She has been with the Alliance Family of Companies for two years and this will be her second promotion.

Elliot Gerth started at Alliance Steel as a Toll Processing Intern from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign. He joined Alliance in August 2022 as a Toll Processing Assistant.

Galvannealed Steel’s primary benefits are high strength, paintability, and corrosion resistance. With a spangle-free, gray-colored appearance, its ability to be formed, welded, and machined. Galvannealed Steel sheets and coils are resistant to premature degradation due to the zinc surface layer as a shield between the base material and atmospheric conditions. Zinc coating is also highly resistant to scratches, a key attribute in demanding operating conditions.
