Inside Sales Representative
SUMMARY
ISRs monitor open customer POs and /or forecast/histoPOsl data against all inventories in the plant, OSP, and on order with the mill. Work closely with outside sales and key departments to ensure we have enough stock to meet customer inventory demands/orders.
Ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply material to correct purchase orders
- Scan receiving documents into PS Data as well as mill certs
- Enter chemistries for material
- Check our system information against mill/supplier information
- Expedite hot material through the mill
- Keep track of outside material being received
- Contact outside processors for receivers
- Receive material on time
- Run receiving reports daily for outside processors
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To succeed in this job, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily and follow verbal instructions and training.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organization skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, good listening skills, and effective communication with employees and customers at all organizational levels.
- Must be computer literate, fast and accurate in data entry, and proficient in Excel.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment, multitask and handle multiple projects, work independently, have strong attention to detail, and have excellent follow-up skills.
Physical Demands:
- The employee is frequently required to handle or feel, reach, talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.

PRODUCTION PLANNER/INVENTORY MANAGER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. The supervisor may assign other duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day fulfillment and application of steel orders
- Overall management of inventory levels and aging and coordination of inbound steel with purchasing department based on customer needs
- Manage applications in coordination with Inside Sales Representatives to ensure on-time deliveries of customer orders
- Work in conjunction with the plant and the quality department to resolve any steel issues
- Problem-solving
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently
- And other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- To succeed in this job, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily and follow verbal instructions and training.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years minimum experience (steel production planning)
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with steel ERPs
- Excellent organization skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, good listening skills and be able to communicate effectively

Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description:
We seek a diverse, experienced, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement and optimize cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will maximize productivity and safety with effective process improvements, capital recommendations, and work force utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Promote Safety as the Number 1 priority of all employees.
- Support and engage factory in Lean, focusing on process improvement and 5S.
- Develop routings for parts to be produced internally, optimizing manufacturing processes and strategies for lean production and minimized cycle time.
- Interpret GD&T requirements
- Create, evaluate and/or approve drawings, models, quality plans/documents, SOPs, training materials and other documents related to the production process.
- Create programs for manufacturing equipment.
- Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality, safety, and efficiency improvements.
- Support automation efforts in Manufacturing.
- Support estimation efforts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- BS in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, fabrication preferred.
- Knowledge of production processes, costs, quality control, raw materials and other methods for maximizing the efficient manufacture of product.
- Basic to moderate experience in metrology, GD&T, inspection methods and tools in a job shop environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Teamwork skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Commercial awareness
BENEFICIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High degree of proficiency in SolidWorks CAD, MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
- Experience in GlobalShop ERP or similar systems preferred. BysoftCAM and HighQA a plus
- Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, standards, and quality.
- Leadership skills

- Medium work that includes moving/lifting up to 50 lbs.

This is an entry-level position with a possibility for advancement.
